If you'd like to get an overview of the state of the world but feel overwhelmed by it, rest assured that I do too.

That's why I'm currently creating WorldScope: a community-driven website that allows users to link facts, statistical data or news items to the world, parts of the world, places, organisations such as associations or businesses, public figures, and so on.

How does it work?

There are pages for every item covered by the site. Anyone can contribute by adding an item or a piece of data, as long as the source is cited and the data is reliable. After each contribution, the information is verified by designated users and instantly updated on the site.

To contribute, you'll need JavaScript enabled and an account with a verified email address.
